Joomla’s content managed system is growing with more and more users wishing to update thier own website. One common question is “How can we add a new web page in Joomla” – As this can save our customers time and save you time. We are going to show you how below…..
Step 1…
In your Joomla admin panel go to Content >> Article Manager.
Step 2…
Once your in the article manager at the top right hand side of the page click on New.
Step 3…
Next create your new article (Page Content) then click on save on the top right hand side.
Step 4…
After you have saved your new article go to Menus >> and selct the menu you want your link to appear in.
Step 5…
Once you are in the menu section click on new in the top right.
Step 6…
Now you have to create a new menu item so click on Articles then Article Layout.
Step 7…
To put all this together you must now type in your page name on the left then select your article you created in step 3 on the right hand side. All you do then is click save in the top right.
Simply when all the actions in this tutorial has been applied go to the front end of your website and refresh the page.
You have now added a new web page in Joomla….
